ABOUT ME
A Certified Swimming Instructor
Hello and Welcome to Hannah’s Swim School.
My name is Hannah, I'm a mummy and I have been a certified Swimming Instructor for over 20 years. I am so passionate about helping all ages and all abilities have confidence in the water and learn how to swim.
We are a growing swim school based in Nottingham High School, we have the whole pool facilities and viewing balcony where parents can watch and see how their children thrive in the water from a young age.
One of the greatest life skills you can provide your child is learning how to swim and being confident in the water - so have a browse of our sessions and book a class with us today!
SWIMMING POOL

The pool is 0.9 m in the shallow end and 2.5 m in the deep end. There are diving blocks and a viewing balcony from where parents can view the lessons. The pool temperature is 28/29 degrees.
The entrance is on Forest Road where there is a large private parking area.

My name is Hannah and I have been teaching for over 20 years. I have my Level 1 and Level 2 teaching qualifications, my Disabilities Level 2 qualification and my Parent & Baby qualification.

My name is Tegan and I am a Level 2 Swimming Instructor and Life Guard. I study Sports Coaching & Physical Education at Birmingham University.

Hi my name is Alice and I am a Level 2 Swimming Instructor.

My name is Beatrice and I am a Level 2 Swimming Instructor with 5 years experience and Lifeguarding Qualifications. I have swam at National level in 800m freestyle and I regularly compete for Nottingham Trent University. I am also part of the Nottingham Trent University Waterpolo Team.

My name is Poppy I'm 16 years old and Head Girl at Heanorgate Spencer Academy. I am working towards my Aquatic Helper Certificate and have swam myself for 10 years at Club level, 6 of those years competitively.

SERVICES
CHILDREN'S SWIMMING LESSONS
Aged 4 and over
Enroll in our 30-minute swimming lessons led by experienced instructors who are in the water with you. We also provide private and one-on-one lessons focused on learning the basics or refining your strokes, helping to build your confidence and enhance your skills in a supportive atmosphere. Begin your journey towards becoming a more confident swimmer today
PARENT & BABY SWIMMING LESSONS
Aged 6 weeks to 3 years old
The perfect introduction for your baby in the water. 30 mins of splashing and building confidence in the water with you right by their side.
COMMON QUESTIONS
AM I ABLE TO WATCH MY CHILD SWIM?
Yes there are is a viewing balcony area so that you can watch as your child learns to swim.
WHAT IS THE BEST AGE TO START SWIMMING LESSONS?
To remove fear of the water and help your child be at ease with swimming, the sooner you start taking them swimming, the better, and the easier their learn-to-swim journey will be. However, children don't have the physical or psychological developmental readiness to learn swimming strokes until the ages of five and six.
DO YOU DO PRIVATE LESSONS?
We do offer private 1-1 lessons for £30 per lesson and private lessons with 2 children for £40 per lesson.
